The Story Behind Roots & Promise
Roots & Promise Co. was born from the seasons of life that have shaped me most — faith, love, loss, perseverance, waiting, caring, and hope.
Over the years, I’ve walked through seasons that changed me in ways I never expected. I’ve loved pets who became family and experienced the heartbreak of saying goodbye. Those losses left spaces that will always be carried with me, but they also taught me how deeply love can take root — and how faith can hold us when life looks nothing like we hoped it would.
That same lesson has followed me through another deeply personal season: infertility and IVF. There have been difficult cycles, waiting, disappointment, uncertainty, and the continued hope for a baby who still isn’t here yet. I’m still in that season — still praying, still hoping, and still learning what it means to trust God in the waiting.
My story has also been shaped by a career in healthcare. Becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner required years of hard work, sacrifice, setbacks, and perseverance. It gave me an even deeper appreciation for the people who spend their lives caring for, comforting, and showing up for others.
Eventually, all of those pieces of my life began to feel connected.
Faith. The waiting seasons. Pets who become family. The calling to care for others. Healing. Hope. And the ordinary moments that make up a life.
That is where Roots & Promise Co. began.
Roots represent what grounds us — our faith, our love, our memories, our resilience, and the experiences that become part of who we are.
Promise represents what keeps us moving forward — hope for healing, growth, brighter days, answered prayers, new beginnings, and whatever may still be ahead.
Roots & Promise Co. is for people walking through real life: the beautiful parts, the heartbreaking parts, the funny parts, the waiting parts, and every season in between.
My hope is that something you find here makes you smile, helps you feel seen, honors someone you love, celebrates a piece of your story, or simply reminds you that your roots can grow deeper while hope still reaches forward.

My pets were never “just pets.” They were family, deeply loved pieces of my life and some of the roots that helped shape who I am. Saying goodbye to them brought some of the hardest seasons I’ve walked through, but their love left something permanent behind.
Grief taught me that love doesn’t disappear when someone leaves us. It changes us, stays with us, and becomes part of what we carry forward. That is why pet parents, remembrance, and the bond we share with the animals we love will always have a special place at Roots & Promise Co.
